This system was built during the COVID-19 emergency to support national vaccine trials under extreme time constraints. The platform included public registration, patient appointment scheduling, symptom reporting, emergency alerts, and supervisor dashboards.
Security and reliability were critical. Anticipating potential attacks, I coordinated external security consulting prior to launch to harden the system. High-volume email and notification delivery required asynchronous processing to maintain system stability.
The solution was deployed on Huawei Cloud due to infrastructure constraints related to the Sinopharm trials and integrated with REDCap for research data synchronization.
